WEICONLOCK SI 303-31 | Pipe and Thread Sealing with NSF, LFGB and ISEGA certification . Tested by the Ruhr District Institute of Hygiene in accordance with the KTW guidelines of the Federal Environment Agency. GENERAL: WEICONLOCK SI 303 - 31 is a low-strength, permanently elastic pipe and thread seal for use in plastic and metal pipes. Suitable as a sealant in sensitive areas, such as the food industry and the drinking water sector. The adhesive remains elastic and absorbs impact loads. PROPERTIES: SI 303-31 is an acetate cross-linking one-component silicone sealant with good chemical resistance to diluted acids and alkalis. The sealant is suitable for plastic threads or plastic|metal combinations and has a high notch and tear resistance. It shows very good resistance to weathering, ageing and UV radiation. FIELDS OF APPLICATION: The thread sealant can be used in many areas: For sealing in the food sector, for example in dairies and slaughterhouses, in beverage and food production. STORAGE: In unopened condition and when stored in normal climate (+23°C and 50% relative humidity) WEICON Elastic Sealants and Adhesives have a shelf life of 12 months. SAFETY: When processing WEICON products, the physical, safety, toxicological and ecological data and regulations in our EC safety data sheets . TECHNICAL DATA: Colour: white, For threaded connections up to: M 80 3", temperature resistance: -40 to 180 °C.
