WEICON Pipe Repair-Tape | Self-welding repair tape for emergency repairs to pipes indoors and outdoors. APPLICATION: Thoroughly clean surfaces to be treated (recommendation: WEICON Surface Cleaner). Open packaging and add sufficient water the repair tape is activated by contact with water Wrap the tape tightly and overlapping around the surface to be treated. wait 30 minutes - now the Repair Tape is cured and loadable ready! PROPERTIES: Thanks to the Repair Tape made of glass fibre reinforced plastic, the repair of pipes can be carried out without additional tools. The sealing tape can be used to repair all leaks and cracks, e.g. on stainless steel pipes, aluminium pipes, sewage pipes or ceramic pipes and many other pipes. The repair tape can also be used on a water hose or garden hose. In addition, it can be used very well in hard-to-reach places and for leaks at bends and T-pieces. Through contact with water, the tape, which is soaked in special resin, is activated and can be fully loaded within 30 minutes. In addition, the tape can be sanded and painted over after curing so that, for example, additional corrosion protection or wear protection can be applied. TECHNICAL DATA: Colour: white Working temperature: +10 °C to +35 °C Pot life: 3-5 minutes Temperature resistance: -50 °C to +120 °C STORAGE STABILITY: In unopened condition and stored at temperatures from +18 °C to +28 °C, the tape has a shelf life of 24 months.
