WEICON Silicone LP 310 ml Tested by the Hygiene Institute of the Ruhr Area in accordance with the KTW Guideline of the Federal Environment Agency. PROPERTIES & APPLICATION: WEICON Silicone LP is an acetate-curing and permanently elastic adhesive and sealant. It is resistant to chemicals, ageing, weathering and UV radiation and has a high temperature resistance up to +180°C. It adheres very well to steel. It adheres very well to steel, aluminium, glass, plastics and many other materials. Silicone LP was specially developed for use in sensitive areas. It is used for sealing in the food and drinking water sector, for example in dairies, in the production of beverages and foodstuffs or in large kitchens. APPLICATION: Application methods with hand pressure gun for 310 ml cartridges, compressed air gun. To ensure optimal wetting, the adhesive parts must be joined before the first skin has formed on the adhesive. STORAGE: WEICON Elastic Adhesives and Sealants have a shelf life of 15 months if stored unopened in a normal climate. TECHNICAL DATA: Basis: 1-K.
