RACO Sun Weld Pipe Joint Lubricant is a specially formulated lubricant designed specifically for pipe joints utilizing rubber or synthetic gaskets. The lubricant is ideal for ensuring that pipes join together easily and without leakage. It is also formulated to help reduce noise caused by vibration when pipes are in service. The lubricant features an advanced formula that provides superior lubricity, superior protection against wear and corrosion, and superior adhesion to the surface of the pipe. This makes RACO Sun Weld Pipe Joint Lubricant ideal for difficult, high-temperature and/or pressure applications. RACO Sun Weld Pipe Joint Lubricant also prevents thread sticking, making it much easier to remove pipes and couplings when necessary. Its formula helps protect bolts and nuts from seizing and galling, reducing the risk of damage to these components. In addition, its anti-friction characteristics protect and extend the lifespan of rubber or synthetic gaskets.

All-purpose pipe Lubricant is used for assembling pipelines including cast iron, concrete, plastic and clay pipe.
Pipe Joint is mixed fatty acid soap dispersed in glycols and water solvents with a clay pigment filler. Pipe lubricant can be applied from -10 F to 150 F.
It will not deteriorate natural or synthetic rubber, plastic gaskets or cast iron pipe. It contains no petroleum oils or phosphates and will not support bacterial growth.
