A reciprocating saw is a type of machine-powered saw in which the cutting action is achieved through a push-and-pull ("reciprocating") motion of the blade. The term is commonly applied to a type of saw used in construction and demolition work.
This type of saw, also known as a hognose or recip saw, has a large blade resembling that of a jigsaw and a handle oriented to allow the saw to be used comfortably on vertical surfaces. The typical design of this saw has a foot at the base of the blade, similar to that of a jigsaw.
The user holds or rests this foot on the surface being cut so that the tendency of the blade to push away from or pull towards the cut as the blade travels through its movement can be countered.
Solid stop, easy to adjust with a quick clamp.
Standard equipped with a carrying hook for easy hanging of the machine.
Equipped with LED lighting for better visibility.
Includes: 2PCS OF 4.0AH XGT BATTERY BL4040 + 1PC OF XGT CHARGER DC40RA.
Suitable for outdoor use, through eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) better protected against the penetration of dust and moisture.
Durable, energy-efficient and maintenance-free carbon brushless motor with electronic control.
Durable thanks to protection against overloading, overheating and deep discharge of the battery.
The absolute powerhouse: fastest Makita cordless rip saw.
Equipped with constant speed, so the machine remains at full speed even under load.
Equipped with two adjustable speeds geared to wood and metal.
Cuts faster and more quietly thanks to the design of the crank mechanism.
Easy tool-free saw blade changes: lever on the outside of the machine ejects a (hot) saw blade automatically.
