WEICON Flex 310 M HT 200 MS polymer PROPERTIES: The high temperature resistance enables the bonding and sealing of components which are subsequently to be thermolacquered (powder-coated). APPLICATION: WEICON Flex 310 M HT 200 can be used in metal construction, in tank and apparatus construction, in ventilation and air-conditioning technology, in bodywork, container, wagon and vehicle construction. WEICON Flex 310 M HT 200 is resistant to high temperatures, has excellent ageing resistance and is free of silicone, isocyanate, halogen and solvents. SURFACE PRETREATMENT: The surfaces must be clean and free of grease. Many surface contaminants such as oil, grease, dust and dirt can be removed with WEICON Surface Cleaner. We recommend WEICON Spray Cleaner S for particularly dirty metal surfaces; WEICON Sealant and Adhesive Remover is suitable for removing old paint residues or adhesive residues. For certain materials or extreme requirements we recommend the use of an adhesion promoter (primer). A mechanical surface pretreatment, e.g. by grinding or sandblasting, can also considerably improve adhesion. PROCESSING: Application methods: Hand pressure gun for 310 ml cartridges, compressed air gun, we recommend a version with piston rod (WEICON compressed air cartridge gun), automatic dosing systems. Joining the adhesive parts: In order to ensure optimum wetting, the adhesive parts must be joined before the first skin has formed on the adhesive (skin formation time). STORAGE: WEICON elastic adhesives and sealants have a shelf life of 12 months if stored unopened and in a normal climate (+23°C, 50 % relative humidity).
