WEICON Dismantling Tool No. 25 PROPERTIES: WEICON's Outer Sheath Cutter enables precise, fast & safe stripping of all common round cables. The exchangeable blade has a hardness of at least 48 HRC. The stripping tool is made of impact-resistant polyamide with inserted double-edged blade & an articulated gear wheel connected to it. It allows in a safe way the execution of longitudinal & round cuts on the cable outer sheath with an outer diameter of 25mm. APPLICATION: The cutting of the outer insulation is done by small lever movements & simultaneous pressing of the toothing to the insulation. The depth of cut is gradual by simply turning the adjusting head (via detent points of 0.1 mm), adjustable from 0-5 mm. The shape of the blade enables the stripping of the outer sheath, including any aluminums shields, up to a sheath thickness of 5 mm without damaging the layers below. The operation can be carried out without problems even at very low temperatures (-10°C). SAFETY: When processing WEICON products, the physical, safety, toxicological & ecological data and regulations of the EC Safety Data Sheets must be observed.
