WEICON Crack Testing Agent Developer 500 ml. CHARACTERISTICS and APPLICABILITIES: The developer for non-destructive material testing using the dye penetrant method is a colourfast special developer based on solvents. It is suitable for metals, many plastics, ceramic materials, glass and much more. PROCESSING: Thoroughly remove grease, oil or other impurities from parts with WEICON Crack Testing Agent Cleaner and dry. The defects must be open towards the surface. The processing temperature is in the range from 0°C to +50°C. Apply WEICON Crack Testing Agent Penetrant to the cleaned and dry surface and leave on for 5 - 10 minutes. Remove excess diffusion agent from the surface using a lint-free cloth slightly moistened with WEICON Crack Testing Agent Cleaner and WEICON Crack Testing Agent Developer onto the surface from a distance of approx. 20 cm. Only spray on as much developer as is necessary to create a white background on the surface. Too much developer can cover fine cracks! After a short time cracks and defects become visible as red lines and dots. After 5 - 10 minutes, carry out the final visual evaluation. QUALITY: German Quality. The spray meets the highest quality requirements in compliance with physical, safety, toxicological and ecological regulations. TECHNICAL DATA: Heat-resistant: 0 to +50°C. Storage stability: 24 months (container is under pressure, protect from temperatures above +50°C). Odour: solvent. Colour: White.
