WEICON Contact VA 8312 HT Cyanoacrylate Glue The adhesive is used for bonding rubber and plastic and convinces by its very fast curing. One drop of the industrial adhesive is sufficient for approx. 3 to 5 cm² of adhesive surface. PROPERTIES : Colourless - Liquid - Clear - Fast drying - Strong adhesion - Max. Gap bridging 0,1 mm. Initial adhesion to aluminium after 30 - 60 sec. - Initial adhesion to NBR rubber after 2 - 10 sec. - Initial adhesion to hard PVC after 5 - 30 sec. - Final strength after 24 hours. DETAILS AND APPLICATION : - For various rubber materials: solid rubber, sponge rubber. - For plastics SURFACE PREPARATION: For optimal bonding with the instant adhesive, dry | clean bonding surfaces are required. For this purpose, clean and grease with WEICON Surface Cleaner. Smooth surfaces should be mechanically roughened. WEICON CA-Primer can be applied to improve the adhesion of difficult to bond materials. APPLICATION: Clean & dry adhesive surfaces. Roughen smooth surfaces mechanically. Apply the adhesive only to one of the surfaces to be bonded with a layer thickness of min. 0.05mm & max. 0.2mm & relative humidity of 40 to 80%, otherwise curing cannot be guaranteed. In case of large-area bonding, the contact adhesive should be applied pointwise to avoid internal tensions. SAFETY: When processing WEICON products, the physical, safety, toxicological & ecological data and regulations of the EC Safety Data Sheets must be observed.
