The CAT DX81B is a cordless wood planer for shaving, levelling and smoothing timber surfaces and edges.
Its brushless 18V motor drives an 82mm cutting width at up to about 15,500 rpm, with cutting depth adjustable up to 2mm.
The aluminium base includes a V-groove for edge work, while the planer can cut rebates up to about 8mm deep.
This tool-only model is supplied without a battery or charger and is designed for the CAT 18V platform.
