WEICON Belt Repair-Kit | Quick repair, touch-up and coating of rubber surfaces. APPLICATION: - Thoroughly clean the surfaces to be treated (recommendation: WEICON Surface Cleaner). - Roughen surface and remove sanding dust - Surface pre-treatment - apply WEICON Primer G as adhesion promoter and allow to cure for approx. 30-60 minutes - Place mixing nozzle on the cartridge - Apply adhesive to the surface to be treated using a dispensing gun - Fill the material - Reworking possible after approx. 8 hours - ready! TECHNICAL DATA: Consistency: pasty Colour after curing: black Pot life at +20 °C: 20 minutes Final hardness after: 24 hours Temperature resistance (wet): -60 °C to +60 °C Temperature resistance (dry): -60 °C to +100 °C PROPERTIES: The Belt Repair Kit contains, among others, WEICON Urethane 85 2-Component Adhesive, which has been specially developed for the repair, touch-up and coating of all common metal parts and rubber parts such as NBR and SBR. WEICON Primer G is recommended for the pre-treatment of the surface. This serves as an adhesion promoter and ensures an even stronger adhesive strength of the PU adhesive. Thanks to the elasticity of the adhesive, it can also be applied to parts that are exposed to vibration, movement, abrasion and impact. In addition, the polymer adhesive provides excellent protection against wear, ensuring that treated parts can still be used for a long time without losing quality.
