ABB OTZC24 Bridging Bars offer an easy-to-use, reliable, and cost-effective solution for terminating busbar systems. A single solution for a variety of busbar configurations, these bridging bars feature single, double, and three-part bridging configurations with rated amps up to 400 Amps. They are composed of deep drawn, pre-dipped copper bars and stainless steel brackets with a zinc-plated finish for exceptional corrosion protection.
Bridging bars provide the necessary flexibility in a ducted busbar system and are perfect for use in many applications, such as overhead line switching, breaker switching, and protection systems. Each bar is fitted with an insulated pin that, when hitched up, enables fast, easy, and dependable connection of bus bars. The two-part systems are especially suited for terminating and connecting longer runs, allowing for easier installation and higher current capacity.
They are easy to install thanks to their design and robust construction. The Quick-Fix clamping system makes mounting simple and requires no additional installation parts. Furthermore, ABB OTZC24 Bridging Bars are capable of carrying up to 400A at 690V, which makes them suitable for most busbar configurations, from single and double bar systems to three-part systems. The consistency in design allows all the components to be connected together, providing a solid, reliable connection.
